For over three decades, Maritime Docks and Decks has been building Florida’s finest docks, seawalls, boathouses, and waterfront structures. Our Story
President John Gobler’s career in marine construction started the moment he left the United States Air Force in 1984. A friend’s father ran a marine construction business, and John jumped in. He loved it from day one; the work itself, the outdoors, the craft, the water. He never looked back.
After years in the industry, John saw an opportunity to do things better. In 1994, he founded Maritime Docks and Decks with a commitment to quality, precision, and honest craftsmanship that the industry too often lacked. That commitment has never wavered.
Today, with more than 5,000 completed projects across Florida, Maritime Docks and Decks stands as the benchmark for marine construction in the state. John is still hands-on, still passionate, and still holds every project to the same standard he set on day one.
